Recruiting new members to our team usually involves two rounds of interviews and a practical test. If you have a sample of your previous analytical work that is not confidential, please send it to us together with your CV.
We usually reply to CVs within one week and the whole process generally takes around three weeks.
Yes! We consider training to be key to personal success and growth for the entire firm. That is why we offer plenty of internal and external training in specialised legal areas (for example, securities law, project finance, general finance, insurance, labour law), non-legal skills (such as reading financial statements, how capital markets or taxes work) and soft skills (negotiation, communication and presentation skills). In addition to the training provided by our firm, we also support each lawyer in completing further training depending on their personal interests, including in further studies. It is no accident that two of our of-counsels are associate professors and three of the five partners are co-authors of major commentaries.
Although we do not have any foreign branches, we are all the more supportive of our colleagues who wish to gain experience abroad. You can do so either through the exchange programme of our PONTES: the CEE lawyers network, or at one of our cooperating firms or with our clients in major foreign jurisdictions. Participating in foreign research projects is a significant source of international experience and is something we support at JŠK.
Our clients and the success of everything that we do for them are our biggest priorities. Even though achieving this goal requires many hours of work, we try to find a balance between work and life outside it. The lawyers in our firm work just as much as those in any leading law firm but they have the option to work from home and we do not expect them to stay in the office late into the night. We take our people's vacations very seriously.
