Michal graduated from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno in 2002, where he also completed postgraduate studies in 2008.

For five years he has held the position of Vice-President of the Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS). He worked for the Office for a total of 10 years, participating in a number of very important investigations.

He contributes to the preparation of new legislation and teaches competition law at Palacký University in Olomouc and Masaryk University in Brno.

Michal is the author of a number of professional publications and a member of the editorial board of the ANTITRUST magazine – a revue of competition law.
