Martin graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in 2014 and three years later from the University of Michigan Law School, Ann Arbor. As part of his master's degree, he completed a study program at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ghent. In 2020 he completed his Ph.D. studies at the Faculty of Law of Charles University.
Martin has been practising law since 2018.
Before joining JŠK, he worked in prominent Czech law firms.
In his practice, he primarily focuses on litigation, including arbitration, with a focus on the issue of damages in various contexts, such as construction projects, managerial decision-making, healthcare, etc. He also focuses on contract and corporate law and has experience in energy law.
Martin also occasionally publishes academic texts on damages and contract law (e.g., he co-authored the first commentary on the Act on compensation for damages in the field of competition).
He is fluent in English.
