Eva graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in 1999. Already during her studies, and then until 2000, she worked in insurance. In 2000–2004 she worked for the Prague branch of the law firm Allen & Overy and since 2004 for JŠK, where she became a partner in 2005. Eva is also listed as a liquidator for domestic and foreign insurance companies in the register of the Czech National Bank.

Eva's main specialisation is advising financial institutions, especially in the insurance industry, in which she has unique experience.

At JŠK she leads a specialised team that regularly represents a number of insurance companies, reinsurance companies, securities dealers and insurance or investment brokers.

She also supports clients in creating insurance conditions and related documentation, in structuring distribution models and relationships with brokers. She represents clients in dealing with large or complicated damages, especially from liability insurance.

Eva has long been involved in insurance regulation, both licensing and competition regulation, advertising, consumer protection and personal data.

She assists clients in administrative proceedings, including proceedings conducted by a financial arbitrator.

Eva led a project to implement the new Civil Code for the Czech Insurance Association.

In addition, she focuses on litigation, IT law, labour law, damages and healthcare.
