At our traditional JŠK St. Nicholas Party last Thursday, the air was filled with praise, mischief, promises, and even some devilish statistics. Nearly 80 little daredevils (some bravely stood their ground, while others were already eyeing the nearest escape route) faced St. Nicholas, the Devil, and the Angel, making grand promises.

The adults enjoyed their own version of pre-Christmas bliss—eating, drinking, and chatting. The kids got creative with festive crafts, performed in a play, decorated gingerbread cookies, and who knows, maybe even gave the Devil’s hoof a little makeover.
