JŠK successfully represented cresco&finance in the sale of Krnovská škrobárna and Krnovský lihovar to a strategic investor

The JŠK law firm provided legal advice to the North Moravian investment company cresco&finance a.s. in connection with the sale of Krnovská škrobárna spol. s r.o. and Krnovský lihovar spol. s r. o. to investment group Reticulum Holding.

"It was an exciting battle between several interested parties until the last moment," Tomáš Doležil said about the transaction. "The whole process and our role in it reflected this. It seems that both companies have finally found the right investor, for which we were happy to provide the client with our assistance." JŠK hires insolvency and restructuring expert Tomáš Richter

JŠK has hired Tomáš Richter, a leading insolvency and restructuring expert and co-author of the Czech Insolvency Act. He joins from Clifford Chance’s Prague office.

Tomáš qualified as a Czech attorney in 1998 and has over 20 years of experience in advising on resolution of corporate distress in and out of formal insolvency proceedings, as well as representing clients in disputes arising therefrom.

In addition to Prague, he has also practiced in London and Frankfurt. He has over 15 years of experience as an arbitrator, is highly regarded as a teacher and researcher, and is active in industry associations and in policy work, including as a member of the board of directors of the International Insolvency Institute and as a private expert consultant to the European Commission and the Czech Ministry of Justice.

At JŠK, Tomáš will focus predominantly on client work, although he will retain several academic posts, including at INSOL Europe's Academic Forum, where he currently serves as Chair, and at the Charles University's Institute of Economic Studies, where he is an associate professor.
